Tiara Opissinow, from Onion Lake, Saskatchewan, is an entrepreneur specializing in Indigenous regalia. As a university student, Tiara spent a semester on exchange at Hokkaido University. She is passionate about the revitalization of Indigenous languages. Tiara holds a Bachelor of Arts (2023) from the University of Alberta with a major in Linguistics and a Minor in East Asian Studies. She also has received a diploma in Indigenous Language documentation (2024) and Indigenous Language Revitalization (2025) from the University of Victoria.
